This Privacy Policy applies only to the information we collect via the website, online and mobile applications ("Apps”), email, telephone, electronic devices, and other interactive services.
The term "you”, "visitor” or "user” refers to students, their legal guardians, tutors, or any person or entity who views, uses, accesses, browses, or submits any content or material to our website.
Providing your personal information is voluntary and your use of the service constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, do not use our website and the services offered at it.
The Information We Collect
You don’t have to create an account to use some of our service features, such as reading blog posts, exercises, searching, and viewing public tutor profiles. If you do not create an account, we do collect information about your browser and device, Device’s Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), browser version, visited pages, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, etc., but we cannot link that information to an identifiable person unless and until you create an account. For example, we use google analytics to understand the visitor behavior on our website. It may use a set of cookies (defined later in this privacy policy) to collect information and report website usage statistics without personally identifying individual visitors. We do not collect any of your personal information such as name or address so this information cannot be used to identify who you are.
Google OAuth Domain Verification
Our website’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The website accesses your private Google data when you choose to sync your website calendar to your Google calendar. This is only possible after we undergo a rigorous authorization process by Google.

You need to create an account if you would like to become a tutor (also referred to as a teacher), contact any of the tutors, book a lesson, or a class, or use any other service offered by the tutors. Tutors
In addition to what is mentioned above, we may also collect your Social Security number (SSN) or Social Services Number if you are from Armenia, or Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) date of birth and address, for tax purposes or to complete a background check. We also need to collect bank account information to send your payments.
Students and Parents
We may also collect personal information related to your documentation of and payment for tutoring sessions; tutoring questions related to homework or your studies; school information; teacher feedback of a student (once the parent provides consent for submission); and content you upload for the purposes of transmitting it to another user or for public display on the Site or Apps.
Children and Our Services
LiTeach does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are an individual under the age of 13, please do not register with LiTeach or supply any of your personal information. If an individual (such as a parent or guardian) has provided information concerning a child under the age of 13, please contact LiTeach administrators at info@liteach.com to have the information deleted.
Security of your Personal Information
Your privacy is important to us. We take all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of personally identifying information. But we can make no guarantees or promises in this regard as no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

When personal information (such as a credit card
number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of
encryption, such as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol.
We do not store the credit card number or other payment method data when you make or receive a payment for the services offered at LiTeach. The payments are processed via third-party services such as payment gateways and processors. We use world-standard payment processors Stripe and PayPal which, in turn, follow the highest security protocols set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Class Recordings
Classes conducted on LiTeach may be recorded either by LiTeach or the tutor. We upload the recording to our corporate Google Drive. We prioritize the privacy of both students and tutors and strictly limit the use of lesson recordings, these recordings are accessible solely to LiTeach and the tutor who conducted the lesson to allow them to (1) provide a viewable copy to students who were absent or want to review the lesson for personal educational purposes, and (2) review the recording themselves to improve their teaching methods. LiTeach may use class recordings to provide feedback to tutors, improve our services, offer customer support, and ensure compliance. Any student or their parent can request that their recording be deleted or not shared with anyone.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
The Company reserves the right to use any of the Tutor's content, including blog articles, photos, and fragments of tutoring sessions, on its website or social media platforms for the purpose of promoting its services. By entering into this agreement, the Tutor grants the Company permission to utilize such content. The Company commits to ensuring that the Tutor's contributions are represented accurately and respectfully in any promotional materials.
User Data Deletion
The website is GDPR compliant and follows the Right to be Forgotten/Right to Erasure guidelines. In simple words, any user can request to delete their account and its data from the platform. This includes any information that directly or indirectly identifies a living person. For example, account information, age, gender, email address, birth date, address, IP address, etc. All such data will be permanently deleted from the platform repository once an account is deleted. Any user can request the system administrator to delete their account from their Account Settings section.
